Manila, Philippines – Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) will offer a free antigen test to passengers as part of their fight against the COVID-19 outbreak.

In a Facebook post on Monday, January 10, MRT-3 said free testing will begin on Tuesday (January 11), followed by January 17 to 21, January 24 to 28, and January 31.

“MRT-3 will set up antigen testing sites at North Avenue, Cubao, Shaw Boulevard, and Taft Avenue stations,” the MRT-3 said in a statement.

At each station, MRT-3 can accommodate up to 12 passengers per peak period or 24 passengers per day.

“Random antigen testing will be conducted on consenting and volunteering passengers during peak hours from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m., and from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., ”according to MRT-3.

Reminder by MRT-3, before checking each passenger, they will be required to fill out the consent and contact tracing form.
