Last week, health officials from Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, along with the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI), have announced that “seven children were paralyzed by vaccine-derived polio”. The paralysis is believed to have been caused by the new nOPV2 polio vaccine developed by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). Upon confirming the incident, the Burundi government declared a national emergency.
Commenting on the matter, Dr. Brian Hooker, Defense chief scientific officer and professor of biology at Simpson University stated: “It is tragic but not unexpected that the use of live virus Sabin vaccines would cause the spread of vaccine-derived polio given the propensity of these viruses to back-mutate into their paralytic form. It is even more alarming that the paralytic form is now circulating among the population of the Congo’s and Burundi’s children.”
To some, this is not surprising. In 2017, the National Public Radio (NPR) reported: “So far in 2017, there have been only six cases of “wild” polio reported anywhere in the world. By “wild,” public health officials mean the disease caused by polio virus found naturally in the environment. By contrast, there have been 21 cases of vaccine-derived polio this year.”
In June of the same year, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported 17 cases of the same outbreak in Syria and 4 cases in the Democratic Republic of Congo. These cases of vaccine-derived polio only show that the tool they are using for preventing the problem actually causes the very same problem. Worst, this oral polio vaccine has been massively administered in Asia, some parts of the Middle East, and Africa.
Meanwhile, on its website, GPEI wrote: “While detection of these outbreaks is a tragedy for the families and communities affected, it is not unexpected with wider use of the vaccine”. However, the same institution also said that “600 million doses of the new vaccine were administered in 28 countries since March 2021”.
In addition to this, the British Medical Journal (BMJ) study in 2020 also revealed that Afghanistan and Pakistan reported many cases of paralysis from oral polio vaccine while in Africa, authorities recorded more than 1,000 cases of this outbreak. Despite all of these alarming outbreaks, the WHO and its collaborating governments are still claiming that nOPV2 is “safe and effective”.
nOVP2 vaccination for polio was heavily funded by the BMGF, along with the WHO, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, Rotary International, and Gavi the vaccine alliance. Bill Gates announced in 2013 that eradicating polio was his topmost priority, funding not only from development but also from its clinical trials to administration and monitoring. For this cause, Gates committed to spend billions of dollars.
