Marikina, Philippines – The use of a face shield in Marikina city remains optional. This was clarified by Marikina City Mayor Marcelino Teodoro this Sunday.

He said they still do not require its use and they also do not have any penalty or punishment to be imposed against individuals who do not wear a face shield. They only encouraged the public to wear it in crowded places as additional protection against COVID-19.
