Unknown to many citizens of the world, the corruption between corporations and government agencies in many countries is still very widespread and causes unnecessary sufferings. Not so many years ago, this has been exposed by a group of scientists who bravely stepped up as whistle blowers to correct the deteriorating policies within the governments related to health. For this example, we will try to look back how the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) was awfully infected through rampant bribery and shameless manipulation using fraudulent science by different “players” around and inside of the agency itself.
In 2016 a group of more than a dozen senior scientists anonymously filed a complaint against the CDC as being “influenced by corporate and political interests in ways that short-change taxpayers”. The group called itself “Scientists Preserving Integrity, Diligence and Ethics in Research”, or CDC SPIDER. These are some of the concerns they wrote on the letter:
“It appears that our mission is being influenced and shaped by outside parties and rogue interests… and Congressional intent for our agency is being circumvented by some of our leaders. What concerns us most is that it is becoming the norm and not the rare exception. These questionable and unethical practices threaten to undermine our credibility and reputation as a trusted leader in public health.”
This was also proven true in the context of the vaccination issue. We can try to look at the case of Dr. William Thompson; a longtime CDC scientist who has published some of the most commonly cited pro-vaccine studies who later became a whistle blower. In some of his claims, in which he later strongly regretted, he stood that “there is absolutely no link between the MMR vaccine and autism”. Thompson pointed to a study that he co-authored in 2004 for the CDC, stating that “the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine does not cause autism or any particular subtypes of autism spectrum disorder.” The study is often used for justifying the use of MMR vaccine. However, he later admitted that they deleted important findings from that study.
Confessing about his mistake, he stated:
“It’s the lowest point in my career that I went along with that paper and uh, I went along with this, we didn’t report significant findings… I’m completely ashamed of what I did, I have great shame now that I was complicit and went along with this. I have been a part of the problem.”
Adding to the impression, let’s also hear this statement from Robert F. Kennedy Jr.:
“The four companies that make all 72 of these vaccines – Merck, Sanofi, Pfizer and Glaxo-Smith Klein – are all convicted felons. Those four companies in the last decades have paid over 35 billion dollars of damages and penalties and fines, criminal fines for defrauding regulators, for falsifying science, for lying to doctors, lying to patients and customers, for killing hundreds of thousands of Americans. You know for example, Merck flagship product before if put Gardasil on the market was Vioxx. Vioxx killed between 120,000 and 500,000 Americans. It was a pill, and Merck marketed it as a headache pill that cause heart attack. Merck knew that it cause heart attack from its clinical trial but it decided not to tell anybody. Most of those people who took that pill for a headache or for arthritis pain probably would have taken aspirin if they knew that pill could have killed them.”
Talking about the absence of legal liability, he went on to say (you can see source site to find the full statement):
“It requires a weird cognitive dissonance for people to think that the same company who were just making most of our vaccines, is lying about its medical products and killing people; and it’s lying about its medical devices, as somehow it’s decided to tell the truth about vaccines which is the only product where can never get caught. The only reason that all of those companies, that Merck got caught on Vioxx, and those other companies got caught on their other products is because private plaintiff attorneys representing injured clients sued the company, got these company documents that showed criminal behavior and then walked those documents down to the US attorney’s office. That’s what happened in Vioxx. The only place that it could never happen is with vaccines because you can’t sue them. So there is no discovery, there are no dispensation, there are no document searches; they can get away with it wherever. And even if they get caught, there’s nothing you can do about it because you can’t sue them.”
Stressing about the companies’ sinister strategy, Kennedy explained:
“These companies today are making 60 billion dollars a year selling vaccines. And they’re making about 500 billion a year; half a trillion dollars. Selling the Albuterol inhalers, the Advair for asthma, the Adderall, Ritalin, medicine for ADHD, diabetes medication and any seizure drugs and all of these medications for the chronic diseases that are caused by vaccines. That’s a really good business plan for them but a really bad health plan for the USA.”
