With all the information coming out right now about how some, if not all, hospitals are skewing the data regarding COVID-19 deaths, how can we really trust the ones that are holding them? Not only the deaths are questionable, there are also people complaining that even though they didn’t get tested for COVID-19, the doctors in the hospital diagnosed them as COVID-19 patients.
For example, there was this woman angrily complaining that she was “ordered to be quarantined for two weeks” because the doctor in the hospital that she visited “decided” that she has COVID-19 even though, according to her, she was not tested and she just visited for her fever. She protested, “They didn’t swab me or test me. Just because I told him I can’t taste and smell, he knows I got it. So they diagnosed me with coronavirus”. The question here is, how many hospitals are doing this? How many people fell on this dishonesty? Are these people being misdiagnosed safe?
Meanwhile, westernjournal.com also reported in April 4 that “CDC Tells Hospitals to List COVID as Cause of Death Even if You’re Just Assuming or It Only Contributed”. In their report, it was stated that in the guidelines issued in March 24, the Centers for Disease Control Prevention (CDC) tells hospitals to record deaths as COVID-19 as the cause “regardless of whether or not there’s actual testing to confirm that’s the case”. On its secondary code, U07.2, it was stated, “for clinical or epidemiological diagnosis of COVID-19 where a laboratory confirmation is inconclusive or not available”.
The guidelines also go on to say: “The underlying cause depends upon what and where conditions are reported on the death certificate. However, the rules for coding and selection of the underlying cause of death are expected to result in COVID- 19 being the underlying cause more often than not”.
“COVID-19 should be reported on the death certificate for all decedents where the disease caused or is assumed to have caused or contributed to death. Certifiers should include as much detail as possible based on their knowledge of the case, medical records, laboratory testing, etc.”
Basically, it is really problematic and it could badly influence future decisions from the governments In solving this problem. The question is, until when will the governments of many countries break loose from this dishonest mandates or control by the CDC? Is it fair to all parties, most especially from the patients, that even if COVID-19 is just “assumed” to have caused or contributed to the death, even without proper testing, the hospital should officially decide that it is the primary cause?
In the video regarding the misdiagnosed woman, concerned citizens raised considerable opinions on the comment section. One user named Nicolette Morr said, “I heard if you die from anything they mark your death as coronavirus aka COVID-19 aka SARS 2 aka novel coronavirus. This virus seems to have lots of names”.
Apparently, this also creates distrust for people to go to hospitals to get tested. A user named Karen B commented, “I told people to be careful going to these early diagnosis places, they are miss diagnosing people. Stay aware and stop tripping. Fear weakens your immune system”. Another named LIB Beautiful also, “Yep that’s how they getting these numbers. And of course you’re bound to catch if you’re being quarantined with people who actual does. Just stay away from these hospitals until you need them”. Lastly, another user named Leah Evans also posted, “Wow! This is probably how they’re getting these numbers up so they can hit us with that vaccine”.
